The Cherry Blossom season is here, introducing AKINA's Latest Summer Menu by Chef Jesse Blake!

Sakura season is here! AKINA’s Culinary Director Jesse Blake celebrates the blooming of cherry blossoms with an all-new summer menu.

Chef Jesse creates a menu celebrating the diverse, vibrant local ingredients featured in traditional dishes served through the hot months of summer in Japan, bringing together a range of cultural influences and ingredients to create a truly unique dining experience.

Sakura is a symbol of good luck and hope, diners can now experience this emotion through an umami dining experience at AKINA. Bite into snacks like Tostada filled with spicy salmon tartare, Chile rocoto, puffed rice, yuzu daikon, Golden Curry Croquette with cottage cheese, curry potato, panko crumb, spinach cream, Crab & Pumpkin Harumaki that consists of summer pumpkin & mud crab spring roll, shiso, jalapeño warishita. Jesse's passion for food is evident in every dish, and his dedication to using only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients shines through. Opt for Starters To Share like Spicy Bean Sprout Salad dressed in marinated bean sprouts, melon, togarashi, fried garlic, or Chashu Chicken that consists of sweet soy chicken, green mango, and crisp noodles.

Some of the highlights of the new menu include mains like Chirashisushi with sashimi selection, sushi rice, tamarind & sesame vinaigrette and Pork Katsu that consists of with loin katsu, truffled potato & gravy, served with wafu cabbage & sunomono pickles. For those looking for something a little heartier, Peppered Chazuke Rice with slow-cooked egg, crisp rice/chicken skin, truffle, smoked pepper, green tea dashi is sure to satisfy.End your meal with mouth-watering Shaved Yuzu & Mango Ice served with fresh summer mango & papaya, coconut caramel, white chocolate tapioca, yuzu shaved ice.

Enjoy the spectacularly crafted cocktail menu like Baja Dragon inspired by travels through the Mexican subcontinent that creates a unique cocktail that features the sweet and exotic flavours of dragon fruit. For something refreshing opt for Yamitsuki Kiyuri with fresh cucumber, nutty sesame, and sweet pineapple for a refreshing and unique flavour experience. Pick from the true party starter Atacaman Mirage an escape to the exotic flavors of the Atacama Desert with jackfruit-inspired cocktail, a fruity sip with a smooth finish. Bring the house down with Nutty Indulgence infused with honeyed, earthy, smooth figs matured bourbon, vanilla sweet vermouth, Campari and walnut bitters. Channel your true tropical spirit with Aureate Dawn Hi- Ball, fruity, herbaceous, astringent spiced banana rum, breakfast tea vermouth, fresh mint, palm sugar.
