You enter into height and shadow. A mezzanine looks down like a theatre balcony. The bar anchors the room like a screen waiting for the scene to begin. Nothing feels accidental. Even the service carries character. The current narrative, Sin and Scandal, reads like whispered headlines. Cocktails do not simply reference infamous moments, they reinterpret them through texture, illusion and gesture. There are sensory cues, small theatrical elements, layered builds. It is indulgent without being excessive.

Chef Hitesh Shanbhag’s aperitivo-style plates mirror the mood. Rich, restrained, playful. You graze rather than commit to a single direction. The room encourages lingering. Fielia feels less like a bar and more like a world. And that is precisely the point.

Bare Bombay, Worli

From the outside, Bare looks like an art gallery. People pause on Dr E Moses Road because they cannot immediately decode it. Inside, natural light washes over sculptural pieces curated by A&H Colab. To the left, coffee machines hiss inside Mumbai’s first micro Boojee Cafe. It feels almost gentle.

Call Me Sofia, Khar West

Tucked behind Olive’s white walls in Khar, Call Me Sofia opens at the onset of evening. It is Mumbai’s first Italian-style aperitivo bar, and it leans into that identity with ease. The space is intimate by design. Golden light spills across semi-open seating. A small bell window allows guests to ring and have a cocktail appear in response. It is playful without being gimmicky.
